| Scholarship amount | The scholarship includes university tuition fees, a monthly stipend, travel costs to and from the UK, an arrival allowance, a homeward departure allowance, the cost of one visa application and a travel grant to attend Chevening events in the UK. |
The scholarship is funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and is provided to eligible students looking to study at the postgraduate study level in the UK. Prior work experience is mandatory. The scholarship does not require an application; students just have to fulfil the criteria to be considered. Applications open in August and close in November.
