Scholarships at University of Technology Sydney, Australia

Students who intend to study abroad and have achieved excellent academic results are eligible to apply for the UTS Study Abroad Excellence Scholarship. Recipients receive a one-time payment of AUD 2,000 towards their travel expenses overseas, and the scholarship is open to domestic and international students.

Female students who demonstrate a passion for engineering and IT studies and are enrolled in a relevant UTS program are eligible to apply for the UTS Women in Engineering and IT Scholarship. This scholarship provides recipients with financial assistance of AUD 5,000 per year for their coursework degree, as well as opportunities to undertake professional development and mentoring.

UTS President's Scholarships are offered to high-achieving students, including international students, who have recorded significant achievements in academic, leadership, sports, or any other field. The scholarship provides either a full tuition fee waiver for the duration of the recipient's course or an AUD 5,000 per-year grant throughout a student's undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.

The UTS Elite Athlete Program (EAP) recognizes high-performing student-athletes who compete at the state, national, or international level. Successful applicants receive academic support, career preparation, and financial help through a range of services and programs, including grants that vary depending on the applicant's performance.

This scholarship supports high-achieving Indigenous students, who have a demonstrated track record of academic success. Recipients receive up to AUD 10,000 per year to cover tuition fees, textbooks, and other expenses. Recipients also receive academic support, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
